Regular Season Round 22: Postojna - Litija 81-66

There was no surprise when 13th ranked Litija (5-16) was defeated on the road by second ranked Postojna (15-5) 81-66. Litija was ahead by 6 points at the halftime before a 45-24 second half run of Postojna. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Litija's 28. Worth to mention a great performance of center Milan Klepo (211-80) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all ten shots !!!). Guard Tilen Zalar (193-87) contributed with 13 points for the winners. point guard Klemen Panic (180-91) replied with 20 points and 4 assists and guard Luka Hren (198-90, agency: Kotnik Sports Agency) added 14 points in the effort for Litija. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Postojna have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 15-5 record having just three points less than leader Grosuplje, which they share with Sencur CP. Litija at the other side stay at the bottom place with 16 games lost. Postojna will play against Radenska (#8) in Murska Sobota in the next round where they are favorite. Litija will play at home against Hrastnik (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
