TKBL top team - Fenerbahce (19-3) added another victory to their record. This time they beat eighth ranked Tarsus Bld (8-14) in Istanbul 86-78. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Tarsus Bld won third quarter 21-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Fenerbahce players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Australian forward Penny Taylor (185-81) scored 26 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and international center Nevriye Yilmaz (194-80) chipped in 15 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side center Jessica Adair (193-86, college: G.Washington, agency: LBM Management) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds and American guard Ivory Latta (168-84, college: N.Carolina) scored 17 points. Fenerbahce have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 19-3 record, which they share with Galatasaray. Tarsus Bld at the other side dropped to the tenth place with 14 games lost. They share the position with Optimum TED. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
