Not a big story in a game in Ankara where 19th ranked Orman Genc (9-22) was outplayed by fourth ranked Genc Telekom (22-9) 84-64 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Genc Telekom. Orman Genc was better in second period 26-23. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Genc Telekom dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Orman Genc's 22. The best player for the winners was forward Hazer Avci (206-87, agency: Court Side) who scored 18 points and 8 rebounds. Croatian power forward Nenad Delic (210-84, agency: TSS Management) chipped in 14 points and 9 rebounds. Four Genc Telekom players scored in double figures. Forward Hasan Karabulut (202-81) produced 15 points and 6 rebounds and forward Arif Erhan Kocamis (196-86, agency: 1x1 Sports) added 14 points and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Genc Telekom moved-up to third place. Loser Orman Genc keeps the nineteenth position with 22 games lost. Genc Telekom will face Darussafaka (#9) in Istanbul in the next round where they are favorite. Orman Genc will play at home against Gaziantep (#5).
