The game was mostly controlled by Pecs 2010. Vasas managed to win second period 13-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 20-of-24 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game. Pecs 2010 forced 20 Vasas turnovers. American forward Stefanie Lynn Murphy (193-89, college: Boston Coll.) fired 22 points and 9 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. Her fellow American import guard Allie Quigley (180-86, college: De Paul) chipped in 16 points. Latvian center Anita Teilane (196-85) produced 21 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks (made all of her seven free throws) and guard Sara Pusztai (170-87) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
