Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Final Genclik (21-11) and Baskent Genclik (11-21), which took place in Bursa. Higher ranked Final Genclik lost at home to eighteenth ranked Baskent Genclik 77-85 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Final Genclik. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 25-14. But Final Genclik won second period 26-17. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a good game for American power forward Marquise Gray (206-86, college: Michigan St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds. Four Baskent Genclik players scored in double figures. point guard Erdem Ilter (-90) answered with 20 points and 5 assists and Cameroonian power forward Alfred Aboya (206-85, college: UCLA) added 16 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Final Genclik. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Baskent Genclik moved-up to seventeenth place, which they share with Usak. Loser Final Genclik keeps the sixth position with 11 games lost. Baskent Genclik's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Ankara Orman Genc.
