The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Zalgiris as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Zalgiris smashed 6th ranked Baltai Kaunas at home 83-62. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Zalgiris forced 20 Baltai Kaunas turnovers.
