Second Stage Round 1: Elektra - Un.Olimpija 64-70

Quite upsetting was Elektra's (#2) home defeat in a game versus leader Amit12 70-64. Elektra was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 19-11 charge of Amit12, which allowed them to win the game. The best player for the winners was Montenegrin forward Vladimir Dasic (206-88, agency: Beo Basket) who scored 20 points and 7 rebounds. Finnish point guard Sasu Salin (190-91) chipped in 9 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Serbian forward Dorde Lelic (197-89) who recorded 15 points and 7 assists and guard Tadej Horvat (196-87) added 14 points respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Amit12 (1-0) left bottom position moving up to third place in League. Loser Elektra still closes the standings with one game lost. Amit12 will meet at home Zlatorog (#4) in the next round. Elektra will play against the league's leader Helios in Domzale and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
