Regular Season Round 23: Triglav Strazisce - Sencur CP 82-85

The most exciting game of round 23 in the D2 took place in Kranj. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 4th placed Triglav Strazisce (15-7) to third ranked Sencur CP (16-5) 85-82 on Saturday evening. Center Jure Erzen (203-75) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists. Kosovan guard Dragan Pusic (193-84) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Guard Boris Jersin (183-85, agency: Kotnik Sports Agency) answered with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Matic Korosec (194-89) added 21 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Triglav Strazisce. Triglav Strazisce's coach Franci Podlipnik rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Sencur CP moved-up to second place, which they share with Postojna. Triglav Strazisce at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. They share it with Splosna plovba. Sencur CP is looking forward to face Branik (#6) in Maribor in the next round. Triglav Strazisce will play on the road against Medvode and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
