Regular Season Round 35: BC Kyiv - DniproAzot 76-66

Rather expected game when 12th ranked DniproAzot (10-25) lost on the road to ninth ranked BC Kyiv (17-17) 76-66 on Monday. The game was mostly controlled by BC Kyiv. DniproAzot managed to win second period 19-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for American guard Gary Ervin (183-83, college: Arkansas) who led the winners and scored 19 points and 6 assists. His fellow American import guard Derrick Zimmerman (191-81, college: Mississippi St.) accounted for 14 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. Filipino-American point guard Stanley Pringle (184-87, college: Penn St.) came up with 18 points and 7 rebounds and American center Michael Dunigan (208-89, college: Oregon, agency: N.E.T.) added 11 points and 10 rebounds respectively for DniproAzot in the defeat. Four BC Kyiv and five DniproAzot players scored in double figures. BC Kyiv maintains ninth place with 17-17 record. DniproAzot lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with 25 games lost. BC Kyiv will meet Kryvbasbasket (#10) in the next round. DniproAzot will have a break next round.
