There was no surprise when 15th ranked Phoenix Hagen (8-21) was crushed on the road by third ranked ALBA Berlin (23-6) 114-86 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by ALBA Berlin. Phoenix Hagen managed to win third quarter 26-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. ALBA Berlin shot 66.1 percent from the field and made 29-of-36 free shots (80.6 percent) during the game, while Phoenix Hagen only scored nine points from the stripe. ALBA Berlin had a 24-13 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for ALBA Berlin especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 61.1 percentage.
