Second Stage Round 2: Elektra - Helios 67-78

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Sostanj. Top-ranked Helios faced 4th ranked Elektra. Guests from Domzale (2-0) defeated host Elektra (0-2) 78-67. The game without a history. Helios led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. The best player for the winners was guard Klemen Prepelic (191-92) who scored 22 points and 6 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). American guard D.J. Gay (183-89, college: San Diego St.) chipped in 18 points, 6 assists and 5 steals. Four Helios players scored in double figures. Center Salih Nuhanovic (209-82) produced 19 points and 8 rebounds and forward Sanel Bajramlic (198-85) added 16 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Helios keep a position of League leader. Elektra at the other side still closes the standings with two games lost. Helios are looking forward to face Amit12 (#3) in Ljubljana in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Elektra will play on the road against the league's second-placed Krka in Novo Mesto and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
