The game in Frankivsk supposed to be also worth to mention about. 7th ranked Dnipro (19-17) played at the court of eighth ranked Hoverla (20-16). Hoverla did not have too big problems ending evening with a very confident victory 76-58. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Dnipro. The game without a history. Hoverla led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Dnipro's 34. The winners were led by American center Eric Coleman (200-85, college: N.Iowa) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 10 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import point guard Dante Swanson (178-81, college: Tulsa) supported him with 16 points and 4 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Four Hoverla players scored in double figures. Even 13 points and 7 rebounds by Serbian center Mladen Pantic (209-82, agency: Alti Sport) did not help to save the game for Dnipro. International guard Steven Burtt (185-84, college: Iona) added 17 points. Dnipro's coach Valdemaras Chomicius rotated twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Hoverla moved-up to seventh place. Dnipro at the other side dropped to the eighth position with 17 games lost. Hoverla will play against league's second-placed BC Donetsk on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Dnipro will play against Halychyna (#14) in Lviv and hopes to get back on the winning track.
