The game in Klaipeda supposed to be also worth to mention about. 6th ranked Baltai Kaunas (9-11) played at the court of seventh ranked Neptunas (9-12). Neptunas smashed Baltai Kaunas 85-59. The game without a history. Neptunas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Laurynas Mikalauskas (205-85, college: Virginia) who scored 27 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Arturas Valeika (206-85, college: Midland CC) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds. Neptunas' coach Paulius Juodis felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international swingman Jonas Maciulis (198-85) who recorded 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and center Gediminas Zyle (210-88) added 8 points and 10 rebounds respectively. The victory was the third consecutive win for Neptunas. They maintain seventh place with 9-12 record. Baltai Kaunas at the other side keeps the sixth position with 11 games lost. Neptunas' next round opponent will be Sakalai (#10) in Vilnius.
