Regular Season Round 30: Leitershofen - Braves 85-99

Everything could happen in Diedorf at the game between two tied teams. Both fourteenth ranked Saar-Pfalz Braves and 15th ranked Leitershofen had identical 7-20 record. But Leitershofen was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Homburg 99-85 on Saturday night. The guests trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 6-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 99-85. Leitershofen was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was Nigerian guard Nick Okorie (185-88, college: Texas Tech) who scored 29 points and 8 rebounds. Four Leitershofen players scored in double figures. Saar-Pfalz Braves maintains fourteenth position with 8-20 record. Newly promoted Leitershofen stay at the bottom place with 21 games lost.
