The game with biggest result difference took place in Cuxhaven. Local Cuxhaven BasCats (10-18) lost to ninth ranked BG Karlsruhe (14-14) 113-96 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by BG Karlsruhe. Cuxhaven BasCats was better in third quarter 30-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BG Karlsruhe made 31-of-34 free shots (91.2 percent) during the game. Cuxhaven BasCats were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Cuxhaven BasCats' coach rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. BG Karlsruhe moved-up to seventh place, which they share with ETB Wohnbau and Jena. Loser Cuxhaven BasCats keep the thirteenth position with 18 games lost.
