No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked BC-93 Pulsar (19-11) beat 8th ranked Sportlitsey (5-23) in Rovno 79-61 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by BC-93 Pulsar. Sportlitsey managed to win fourth quarter 24-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. BC-93 Pulsar forced 21 Sportlitsey turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for forward Evgen Korovyakov (197-88) who led the winners and scored 21 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Swingman Taras Lipin (185-93) accounted for 17 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. BC-93 Pulsar's coach Mikhail Pereverziy let to play all 12 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Vladislav Baljasnikov (194-89) came up with 17 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Evgen Kukharsky (206-93) added 13 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Sportlitsey in the defeat. Five BC-93 Pulsar and four Sportlitsey players scored in double figures. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for BC-93 Pulsar. They maintain fifth place with 19-11 record. Sportlitsey lost their eighth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 23 games lost. BC-93 Pulsar will meet higher ranked Aviastar (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sportlitsey will play against BK Kremen (#6) in Kremenchuk and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
