An interesting game took place in Guimaraes where 6th ranked Lusitania (11-10) was upset on the court of ninth ranked Vitoria SC (8-13) 84-77. The hosts were tied after three quarters but managed to speed up in last quarter eventually winning the game. Vitoria SC outrebounded Lusitania 40-21 including 26 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for American forward Brian Morris (205-87, college: Humboldt St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 18 rebounds. The former international swingman Rui Mota (190-78) contributed with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners.
