Second Stage Round 4: Radnicki KG - Partizan 79-77 OT

There was a change at the A League leadership position after last games. Round 4 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Partizan (3-1). They were edged by fifth ranked Radnicki K. (3-1) 79-77 in overtime on Wednesday night. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Partizan. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Partizan was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 8-point lead after three quarters before a 23-15 charge of Radnicki K., which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time. They were better in overtime eventually winning that period 11-9. Radnicki K. forced 19 Partizan turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Mike Scott (203-86, college: Kent St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and Montenegrin guard Miljan Pavkovic (178-81, agency: Beo Basket) who added 11 points and 8 assists during the contest. At the losing side American point guard Dominic James (180-86, college: Marquette) responded with 12 points and 6 assists and international center Milan Macvan (206-89, agency: INVICTUS Sports Group) scored 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Radnicki K. keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Partizan and Crvena Zvezda. Partizan will play next round against strong Zvezda trying to make it back to the top of the standings. It will be a derby game for which supporters look forward to, where their team will face at home their local rival from Beograd - Zvezda. Radnicki K. will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Radnicki Basket in Beograd.
