Important game to mention about took place in Odessa. Sixth ranked BC Odessa (22-15) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 4th placed Ferro-ZNTU (22-15) 82-79 in the fight for the fourth place. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Ferro-ZNTU. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Ferro-ZNTU won third quarter 21-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when BC Odessa won last quarter 20-19. They shot the lights out from three nailing 13 long-distance shots on high 61.9 percentage. BC Odessa players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Justin Love (189-78, college: St.Louis) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 8 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). The former international swingman Rostyslav Kryvych (197-78) contributed with 14 points and 4 assists for the winners. American guard Randy Culpepper (182-89, college: UTEP) answered with 23 points and 5 assists and the other American import guard Jeremy Chappell (191-87, college: Robert Morris) added 20 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Ferro-ZNTU. Four Ferro-ZNTU players scored in double figures. BC Odessa moved-up to fourth place, which they share with defeated Ferro-ZNTU. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
