No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked BC Kyiv (19-18) beat at home 12th ranked Mykolaiv (11-27) 89-82 on Saturday. The hosts trailed by 4 points at the halftime before their 44-33 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. American guard Gary Ervin (183-83, college: Arkansas) orchestrated the victory by scoring 24 points and 5 assists. Guard Ruslan Otverchenko (195-90) contributed with 24 points for the winners. American point guard Deonta Vaughn (185-86, college: Cincinnati, agency: New Trend Agency) replied with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and his fellow American import center Daniel McClintock (212-77, college: N.Arizona) added 19 points in the effort for Mykolaiv. Four Mykolaiv players scored in double figures. Mykolaiv's coach Leonid Shimansky rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. BC Kyiv maintains ninth position with 19-18 record. Mykolaiv lost eleventh consecutive game. They keep the twelfth place with 27 games lost.
