Regular Season Round 26: Erdemir - Aliaga 55-65

Rather expected game when 10th ranked Erdemir (10-16) lost at home to seventh ranked Aliaga (13-13) 65-55. It looked good early as Erdemir took an 5-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Aliaga had a 18-8 second period charge getting the lead and Erdemir was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 55-65. The best player for the winners was American guard Ryan Toolson (193-85, college: Utah Valley) who scored 20 points. The former international forward Umit Sonkol (206-82) chipped in 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Aliaga players scored in double figures. American guard Gerrod Henderson (192-78, college: Louisiana Tech) produced 14 points and 4 assists and his fellow American import forward Antwayne Robinson (203-84, college: Temple, agency: Priority Sports) added 9 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Erdemir's coach let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Aliaga maintains seventh position with 13-13 record. Erdemir lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 16 games lost. Aliaga's next round opponent will be higher ranked Karsiyaka (#6) at home and it may be quite challenging game.
