Regular Season Round 25: Medvode - Sencur CP 82-77

The game between second ranked Sencur CP (19-6) and twelfth ranked Medvode (10-15) was the most important one in the last round on Saturday night. Sencur CP was defeated by Medvode in a tough game in Medvode 77-82. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Sencur CP. The hosts trailed by 10 points after first quarter, but they rallied back winning two of next three quarters and won the game by 5 points. 33 personal fouls committed by Sencur CP helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Guard Ernest Novak (194-77, agency: Kotnik Sports Agency) fired 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Guard Dario Krejic (195-78) chipped in 17 points and 5 assists. Medvode moved-up to tenth place. Sencur CP at the other side keeps the second position with six games lost. They share it with Postojna. Medvode are looking forward to face higher ranked Terme Olimia (#7) in Podcetrtek in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sencur CP will play at home against Jance Prit (#12) in Ljubljana and is hoping to win this game.
