Regular Season Round 32: Ternopil - Musson 47-100

Bottom-ranked Ternopil-TNEU is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 31th consecutive match to third ranked Musson (22-7) 100-47 on Saturday evening. The game without a history. Musson led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Ternopil-TNEU's 24 and had 25 for 35 from the free-throw line, while Ternopil-TNEU only scored eight points from the stripe. Musson forced 21 Ternopil-TNEU turnovers. The winners were led by forward Igor Kozhevatov (195-88) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and power forward Dmitro Semenov (204-79) supported him with 18 points and 7 rebounds. Four Musson players scored in double figures. Even 14 points by guard Anton Nifonton (190-89) did not help to save the game for Ternopil-TNEU. Pavlo Melashych added 7 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts. Ternopil-TNEU's coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Newly promoted Musson maintains third position with 22-7 record having six points less than leader Avantazh-Pol. Loser Ternopil-TNEU still closes the standings. Musson will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Ternopil-TNEU will play again against Musson (#3) in Symferopil and hopes to get finally their first victory.
