The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Avantazh-Politekhnik (26-6) in Lutsk on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by second ranked VolinBasket (24-6) 89-87. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Avantazh-Politekhnik. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. VolinBasket maintains second place with 24-6 record having 2 victories less than leader Avantazh-Pol. Avantazh-Politekhnik at the other side still keeps top position with six games lost. VolinBasket are looking forward to face Aviastar (#4) in Zaporozhye in the next round. Avantazh-Politekhnik will play on the road against BK Kremen in Kremenchuk and is hoping to win this game.
