Lugano Tigers thrashed SAM Massagno on the road to seal the next round appearance. The game without a history. Lugano Tigers led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to SAM Massagno's 38. Lugano Tigers looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by SAM Massagno's players. It was a great evening for the former international guard Dusan Mladjan (199-86, agency: Interperformances) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 5 rebounds. American-British point guard Rod Brown (186-78, college: W.Michigan, agency: Two Points) helped adding 12 points and 11 assists. Five Lugano Tigers players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
