Second Stage Round 6: Rogaska - LTHcast Mercator 81-59

Rather predictable result when third ranked Rogaska (13-12) rolled over 5th ranked LTHcast Mercator (4-21) in Rogaska Slatina 81-59 on Wednesday. Rogaska made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Rogaska outrebounded LTHcast Mercator 33-22 including 22 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for Serbian power forward Milos Miljkovic (204-84) who led his team to a victory with 4 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists. Serbian forward Miroslav Petrovic (199-84) contributed with 18 points (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) for the winners. Croatian power forward Vjeran Soldo (208-84) replied with 17 points and 8 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and guard Aljaz Korosec (188-89) added 16 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) in the effort for LTHcast Mercator. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Newly promoted Rogaska maintains third position in League with 13-12 record having just -27 point less than leader Union Olimpija. Loser LTHcast Mercator keeps the fifth place with 21 games lost. Rogaska will face league's second-placed Maribor Messer on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. LTHcast Mercator will play against the league's leader Polzela.
