Rather expected game when 11th ranked Lietkabelis (5-17) was smashed on the road by eighth ranked Kedainiai (9-13) 88-68 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by Kedainiai. Lietkabelis managed to win second period 17-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Kedainiai looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for the former international point guard Vytenis Jasikevicius (187-85) who led the winners and scored 9 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. point guard Tomas Cerneckis (190-88) accounted for 13 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Kedainiai's coach Gediminas Petrauskas used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Adomas Drungilas (203-90) came up with 10 points and 9 rebounds and center Vaidas Cepukaitis (207-89, agency: Interperformances) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Lietkabelis in the defeat. Four Kedainiai and five Lietkabelis players scored in double figures. Kedainiai moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Baltai Kaunas. Loser Lietkabelis dropped to the tenth position with 17 games lost. They share it with Sakalai.
