Very important is a road loss of third ranked Rilski Sportist (16-10) against seventh ranked Spartak Pleven (6-20) on Friday night. Visiting Rilski Sportist was defeated by Spartak Pleven in a tough game in Pleven 74-78. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 24-18. But Rilski Sportist won second period 20-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The game was decided in the last minutes when Spartak Pleven won last quarter 20-17. They made 21-of-25 charity shots (84.0 percent) during the game.
