Very predictable result when fourth ranked Rudupis (16-6) won against 9th ranked Juventus (6-16) in Utena 87-70 on Friday. The game without a history. Rudupis led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was an exceptional evening for swingman Gediminas Orelikas (198-90) who led the winners and scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Forward Arnas Labuckas (205-87, agency: Interperformances) accounted for 12 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Four Rudupis players scored in double figures. Center Karolis Petrukonis (212-87, college: Clemson) came up with 21 points (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) and the former international forward Zydrunas Urbonas (198-76) added 8 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for Juventus in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Rudupis moved-up to third place, which they share with Siauliai. Juventus lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 16 games lost.
