Second Stage Round 7: Partizan - BKK Radnicki 86-63

Rather predictable result in Beograd where first ranked Partizan (6-2) smashed 5th ranked BKK Radnicki (3-4) 86-63 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by Partizan. BKK Radnicki was better in fourth quarter 21-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded BKK Radnicki 41-26 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Partizan looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. BKK Radnicki was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for forward Vladimir Lucic (202-89, agency: Beo Basket) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Danilo Andjusic (197-91, agency: Beo Basket) helped adding 13 points. At the losing side center Aleksandar Petrovic (206-87) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and guard Marko Boltic (193-87) scored 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion maintains first place with 6-2 record. Newly promoted BKK Radnicki dropped to the sixth position with four games lost. Partizan will face Mega Vizura (#7) at home in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. BKK Radnicki's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Beograd to the arena Radnicki Basket.
