Rather expected game in Bezigrad where 6th ranked Parklji (1-25) was crushed by fourth ranked Geoplin Slovan (10-16) 88-53 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Geoplin Slovan led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Parklji's players. It was a great evening for Croatian center Ante Djugum (211-88, agency: Court Side) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Miha Fon (194-84) helped adding 14 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. Five Geoplin Slovan players scored in double figures. Geoplin Slovan's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. At the losing side Marko Filipovic (-93) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and Matic Urbas scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Geoplin Slovan maintains fourth place in League with 10-16 record. Loser Parklji keeps the sixth position with 25 games lost. Geoplin Slovan will face LTHcast Mercator (#5) in Skofja Loka in the next round. Parklji will play at home against the league's second-placed Maribor Messer.
