The game between 16th ranked LTi 46ers (9-24) and ninth ranked Telekom Baskets (17-15) in Giessen on Saturday ended with biggest points difference. Guests from Bonn outscored LTi 46ers 76-56. The game was mostly controlled by Telekom Baskets. LTi 46ers was better in second period 15-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. LTi 46ers were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Telekom Baskets moved-up to seventh place, which they share with NY Phantoms. Loser LTi 46ers dropped to the seventeenth position with 24 games lost. Telekom Baskets will face Deutsche Bank Skyliners (#9) in Frankfurt in the next round. LTi 46ers will play on the road against Phoenix Hagen (#16) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
