The game in Bezigrad supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Maribor Messer (17-10) played at the court of 6th ranked Parklji (1-26). Maribor Messer did not have too big problems ending evening with a very confident victory 77-57 on Saturday. The game without a history. Maribor Messer led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Maribor Messer forced 19 Parklji turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Parklji's players. The best player for the winners was forward Ilija Gavric (200-88) who scored 24 points and 7 rebounds. Serbian power forward Marko Spica (205-86, college: Cent.Michigan) chipped in 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Maribor Messer's coach Igor Kuzma used a ten-player rotation saving starting five for next games. Guard Klemen Lorbek (198-88) produced 18 points and 6 rebounds and Hasan Kovacevic added 8 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Maribor Messer maintains second position in League with 17-10 record behind leader Polzela. Loser Parklji keeps the sixth place with 26 games lost. Maribor Messer will face league's leader Polzela at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Parklji will play against LTHcast Mercator (#5) in Skofja Loka and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
