The game was mostly controlled by Atomeromu. Kormend was better in second period 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Atomeromu dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Kormend's 36. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Lorenzo Williams (191-84, college: Rice, agency: Court Side) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 4 assists. The other American import Nick Williams (192-83, college: Cincinnati, agency: Beo Basket) contributed with 11 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Atomeromu players scored in double figures. The former international guard Istvan Nemeth (190-79, agency: Interperformances) replied with 16 points and 7 rebounds and the former international guard Csaba Ferencz (194-85, agency: Laszlo Vinko Group) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Kormend. Kormend's coach Zoran Martic tested ten players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
