Quarter-Finals Round 4: Soproni - Falco-Szova 59-62
Date: April 23, 2012
The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 26-17. But Soproni won second period 11-7. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Strangely Soproni outrebounded Falco-Szova 40-25 including a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. American guard Chad Timberlake (194-84, college: Fair Dickinson) fired 22 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Serbian forward Djordje Pantelic (204-84) chipped in 6 points and 10 rebounds. American guard Janou Rubin (193-82, college: UCLA, agency: Two Points) produced 11 points and 6 rebounds and the former international swingman Andras Molnar (195-83, agency: TSS Management) added 16 points respectively for lost side. Soproni's coach Robert Meszlenyi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
