Very expected game in Ankara where 15th ranked Trabzonspor (6-24) was crushed by tenth ranked Turk Telekom (13-17) 103-81 on Saturday. The game without a history. Turk Telekom led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-22 free shots (86.4 percent) during the game. Turk Telekom forced 26 Trabzonspor turnovers. Strangely Trabzonspor outrebounded Turk Telekom 86-43 including a 24-12 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Lithuanian Simas Jasaitis (201-82) who scored 22 points (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). Forward Nedim Yucel (203-79) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. Five Turk Telekom players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Elton Brown (206-83, college: Virginia) who recorded a double-double by scoring 22 points and 13 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Russell Robinson (185-86) added 17 points and 4 assists respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Turk Telekom moved-up to ninth place. Trabzonspor lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with 24 games lost.
