Regular Season Round 30: Erdemir - Hacettepe 85-63

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eleventh ranked Erdemir and 12th ranked Hacettepe Univ. had identical 11-18 record. This time Erdemir used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Ankara 85-63 on Saturday night. The game was mostly controlled by Erdemir. Hacettepe Univ. managed to win fourth quarter 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was American guard Gerrod Henderson (192-78, college: Louisiana Tech) who scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. The other American import forward Antwayne Robinson (203-84, college: Temple, agency: Priority Sports) chipped in 13 points. Erdemir's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Ghanian-British forward Matthew Bryan-Amaning (205-88, college: Washington, agency: Interperformances) who recorded 18 points and 7 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and power forward Ali Isik (206-90) added 8 points and 11 rebounds respectively. Erdemir (12-18) moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Mersin. Hacettepe Univ. lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with 19 games lost.
