Fribourg toppled Lugano Tigers at home court to narrow the deficit in the series. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 11-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 66-53. The best player for the winners was the former international center Oliver Vogt (209-80) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds. American-Jamaican forward Ronald Yates (201-83, college: St.Peter's) chipped in 11 points and 6 rebounds. Fribourg's coach Damien Leyrolles used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Mohammed Abukar (208-85, college: San Diego St., agency: Two Points) who recorded a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and Montenegrin forward Zarko Rakocevic (204-84) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively.
