Finals Game 1: Triumph - Lokomotiv 91-86

Triumph earned the opening win in the Bronze medals series taking down Lokomotiv. It looked good early as Lokomotiv took an 1-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then Triumph Lyubertsy had a 22-20 second period charge getting the lead and Lokomotiv was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 86-91. Triumph Lyubertsy made 27-of-31 charity shots (87.1 percent) during the game. Lokomotiv was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American forward Davon Jefferson (204-86, college: USC) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and his fellow American import point guard Tywain McKee (188-86, college: Coppin St.) accounted for 24 points. French center Ali Traore (207-85, college: S.Idaho JC, agency: Beo Basket) came up with 22 points and international guard Sergey Bykov (190-83) added 19 points respectively for Lokomotiv in the defeat. Lokomotiv's coach Bozidar Maljkovic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
