Finals Game 4: Geneve Lions - Lugano Tigers 100-86

Geneve Lions fired past Lugano Tigers to ensure the decisive fifth game in the series. The game was mostly controlled by Geneve Lions. Lugano Tigers managed to win third quarter 23-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Geneve Lions dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Lugano Tigers' 42. They outrebounded Lugano Tigers 43-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. Geneve Lions looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American guard Tony Brown (193-79, college: Arkansas St.) fired 30 points and 5 assists for the winners. The other American import forward Sean Barnette (195-86, college: Wingate) chipped in 21 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Geneve Lions' coach Nebojsa Lazarevic used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international guard Dusan Mladjan (199-86, agency: Interperformances) produced 20 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from downtown making all five shots) and American forward Mohammed Abukar (208-85, college: San Diego St., agency: Two Points) added 24 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
