Regular Season Round 3: Horsholm - Aarhus BC 63-67

Date: September 29, 2012
No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Aarhus BC (2-1) beat on the road bottom-ranked Horsholm (0-3) 67-63 on Saturday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Horsholm won third quarter 23-20. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was an exceptional evening for American swingman Randy Dezouvre (195-87, college: Iona) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Bulgarian forward Hristo Petkov (202-85, college: Campbellsville) accounted for 17 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. The former international forward Casper Hesseldal (198-85, college: Dickinson St., agency: Dynamics Global Management) came up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds and Hungarian forward Attila Kovacs (203-85) added 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Horsholm in the defeat. Aarhus BC moved-up to third place, which they share with Naestved and SISU. Loser Horsholm still closes the standings with three games lost. Aarhus BC will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Horsholm will play against SISU (#3) in Copenhagen and hopes to get finally their first victory.
