There was a minor upset in Giessen where higher ranked LTi 46ers (1-1) were defeated by eleventh ranked Bayern Muenchen (1-1) 81-71 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 4-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 81-71. Bayern Muenchen made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American forward Chevon Troutman (202-81, college: Pittsburgh, agency: Beo Basket) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds.
