There was a surprise result in Marijampole where sixteenth ranked Suduva-Mantinga (1-1) defeated higher ranked Perlas-MRU (1-1) 90-79 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Suduva-Mantinga. Perlas-MRU was better in third quarter 23-18. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Suduva-Mantinga made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Suduva-Mantinga left bottom position moving up to fourth place, which they share with 11 other teams including defeated Perlas-MRU. Suduva-Mantinga will face Triobet (#7) in Jonava in the next round. Perlas-MRU will play at home against Nafta Universitetas in Klaipeda.
