Undefeated TBB Trier (1-1) recorded its first loss at the home court. Hosts were edged by fifteenth ranked New Yorker Phantoms (1-1) 72-70. The guests were ahead by 2 points but lost the second period ending it with a 2-point deficit before their 15-11 run, which allowed them to win the game. Cameroonian forward Harding NaNa (203-81, college: Delaware) orchestrated the victory by scoring 13 points and 9 rebounds. American guard Casey Mitchell (193-88, college: W.Virginia) contributed with 16 points for the winners. International Andreas Seiferth (209-89) replied with 17 points and American guard Barry Stewart (191-88, college: Mississippi St.) added 12 points in the effort for TBB Trier.
