Undefeated Zalgiris-Sabonio (1-1) recorded its first loss in Kaunas. Hosts were defeated by tenth ranked Dzukija (1-1) 89-80. The game without a history. Dzukija led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 18-of-22 charity shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Dzukija had a 35-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Povilas Sakinis (199-80) notched 24 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Tauras Skripkauskas (196-86, college: Charleston) supported him with 23 points and 8 rebounds. Four Dzukija players scored in double figures. Even 17 points by guard Lukas Lekavicius (180-94) did not help to save the game for Zalgiris-Sabonio.
