Very expected game when bottom-ranked USC Leipzig (0-3) was rolled over on the road by ninth ranked Duesseldorf Baskets (2-1) 82-63. It was a very close game until the last quarter, when Duesseldorf Baskets's pressure prevailed and they won that period 24-12 extending their advantage to 19 points. Duesseldorf Baskets outrebounded USC Leipzig 31-20 including 21 on the defensive glass. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Kendall Chones (201-84, college: Colgate, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who led the winners and scored 24 points and 5 rebounds.
