Regular Season Round 4: LSU-Baltai - Juventus 74-83

LSU-Baltai is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their second consecutive match to Juventus (2-1) 83-74 on Tuesday evening. LSU-Baltai was trailing by 5 points at halftime but managed to get 5-point lead after three quarters before a 25-11 charge of Juventus, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to LSU-Baltai's 32. The winners were led by American guard Darrick Leonard (190-84, college: Aurora) who scored that evening 19 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Darius Gvezdauskas (191-88) supported him with 16 points. Even 21 points by point guard Taurantas Tamosiunas (192-92) did not help to save the game for LSU-Baltai. Guard Paulius Malasauskas (188-91) added 8 points and 8 assists for lost side. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Juventus moved-up to fifth place. Loser LSU-Baltai still closes the standings with two games lost. They share the position with Lietkabelis. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
