Very expected game when 9th ranked Rapid (1-2) lost to top-ranked Timisoara (3-0) in Bucuresti 87-96 on Wednesday. The guests trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 24-14 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Timisoara dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Rapid's 38 and made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Timisoara forced 27 Rapid turnovers. It was a very good performance for American guard Tiffany Brown (165-86, college: Georgia South) who helped to win the game recording 33 points (!!!) and 4 steals. Serbian guard Biljana Pesovic (180-83) contributed with 35 points (!!!) and 4 steals for the winners.
