Regular Season Round 4: Lemvig - SISU 44-78

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Lemvig (3-1) at the home court on Saturday night. Hosts were rolled over by SISU (4-0) 78-44. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Lemvig. It was a key game for the top position in the league as both teams had the same 3-0 record before this meeting. The game without a history. SISU led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a great shooting night for SISU especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Marie Malone (190-89, college: Hofstra) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and guard Camilla Blands (180-85, college: Alabama) who added 16 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. SISU's coach Hrannar Holm felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American forward Emily Hatch (185-89, college: San Diego) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists and FYR Macedonian point guard Ivana Udovalieva (172-84) scored 8 points. SISU have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. Lemvig at the other side dropped to the second place with one game lost. They share the position with Falcon. SISU are looking forward to face Amager (#6) in Kastrup in the next round where they are favorite. Lemvig will play at home against Horsholm (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
