Bottom-ranked Randers (0-5) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 97-90 loss to sixth ranked Aarhus BC (3-3) in Aarhus on Saturday evening. Randers were trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 4-point lead after three quarters before a 26-15 charge of Aarhus BC, which allowed them to win the game. They dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Randers' 38. They outrebounded Randers 35-22 including 24 on the defensive glass. Four Randers players scored in double figures. Aarhus BC maintains sixth position with 3-3 record. Newly promoted Randers still closes the standings with five games lost.
